Mercure Montevideo Punta Carretas

Location is excellent: we wanted something in a pleasant part of the Ramble and with easy access to both Pocitos and City Centre + Ciudad Vieja, that was sufficed. Very attentive and professional staff (always helpful), all the recomended restaurants and attractions paid off. Good breakfast. Nice window view.

The staff is truly amazing! I’ve stayed in quite a few fancy five star hotels and this one exceeds each of them in quality of their people. Location is great too!

I loved that the staff was very nice and dedicated to helping me solve my issue. Jose assisted me through the problem until it was fixed. The fact that I was not able to access the internet to work for a certain amount of time was definitely disappointing, but the assistance that I have received through this issue has definitely made this a good experience despite everything. They even let me check out a bit later because I was waiting for someone to pick me up. That aside, the accommodation was nice, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the view was mesmerizing.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, gave good advice on site-seeing and hiring bikes. Room was very good. Location was great, great views, and a huge shopping mall 2-3 blocks behind the hotel.

Great location. A lot of dining and shopping available nearby.
